In addition to the usual lead, customers and sales pipeline management, the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system needed to be tailored to manage contracts, devices and meter reads. As a fast growing organisation, Channel IP needed to choose a CRM solution which was flexible enough to meet their current and future requirements.
Channel IP needed to move away from spreadsheets and implement a CRM system to support their expansion and automate key processes. They were looking for a system that was simple to use, cost effective and would support them to manage inbound leads, referrals, customers and sales. The system needed to be tailored to deliver a meter read tracking system giving them the ability to report back to clients about their monthly usage. Sales pipeline reporting, activity tracking dashboards and an inbound lead scorecard was another primary focus.
Squirrel began by implementing Zoho CRM for lead and sales pipeline management. This included automated reminders, tasks and filtered customer lists. Customer data was imported into the CRM along with sales pipeline information from spreadsheets.
Squirrel CRM consultants then built a number of custom modules to manage customer contracts, devices and their associated monthly meter reads. The account managers now have colour, mono and scan meter read data at their fingertips including monthly / quarterly and annual averages which the system calculates.
Online training was provided to the team empowering them to set up filtered lists for the Accounts they manage, track upcoming and outstanding tasks and use the mobile app to access the CRM on the go.
